What is grace? In light of the nature of man

It is probably the most popular and most used word in all of Christendom ... and not without reason.

Grace is indeed amazing. And to the ear of the justified ungodly, there is nothing sweeter. It is the grace of God Almighty, God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit, that gave us life from the dead, brought us to faith in Jesus Christ, and enabled us to call upon the name of Jesus Christ and be justified, forgiven, reconciled, sanctified.

Upon reading Scripture passages such as Romans 3:9-18, 1 Corinthians 6:9-10, and Ephesians 2:1-3, the Christian realizes just how amazing our heavenly Father is and the unfathomable riches of His amazing grace. It is in seeing who and what we were apart from Christ that grace moves us to gladly praise the glory of His grace.

For what else is grace but God's response to our sin.
